About Ch13 Control Panel
Effective date: October 9, 2026
Ch13 Control Panel is a bankruptcy case-management platform used by law-firm staff to organize Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 matters, deadlines, court filings, trustee documents, client communications, and accounting. It helps attorneys, paralegals, and intake staff keep every matter on track in one place.
What the app does
- Matter tracking: store and search case details, statuses, hearing and deadline dates, trustee assignments, and notes.
- Document workflows: generate court forms, collect trustee documents, and manage e-signature requests and audit trails.
- Plan drafting: build Chapter 13 repayment plans with payment schedules, creditor treatment, and feasibility analysis.
- Reporting & dashboards: monitor caseloads, upcoming hearings, confirmations, dismissals, and staff workload.
MyECF Mail Flow
MyECF Mail Flow is a feature that lets an authorized firm connect a Gmail mailbox so that court electronic-filing (ECF) notice emails are automatically imported, categorized, and linked to the firm's matters. Instead of manually reading every court email and typing deadlines into the system, staff see organized, searchable notices alongside the relevant case.
A firm administrator connects a single monitored Gmail account (for example, the firm's ECF-notice mailbox). The app then reads new messages from that mailbox on a recurring basis, extracts key information (case number, hearing date, event type), and presents it to authorized firm staff.
Why the app accesses Gmail
The app requests two Gmail permissions for the MyECF Mail Flow feature:
- gmail.readonly — lets the app read messages in the connected mailbox (email headers and body text) so ECF notice emails can be imported into the app. The app does not send, label, modify, or delete messages in the connected mailbox through this feature.
- gmail.labels — lets the app see the mailbox's labels so the firm can choose to limit syncing to a particular label (for example, "ECF Notices").
The app uses Gmail data only to provide the MyECF Mail Flow feature to authorized firm staff. It is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not used to train AI models. See the Privacy Policy for full details, including how to disconnect Gmail and request deletion of imported data.
Access & privacy
Access to the app requires sign-in, and data access is restricted to active members of the same firm. Public visitors can view this About page, the Privacy Policy, and the Terms of Service without signing in. All other pages require authentication and firm membership.
Your controls
- Disconnect Gmail at any time from MyECF Mail Flow settings.
